HARD WORK

“It’s very difficult to find substitute to hard work” Hard work knows how to finish the job

Doing hard work doesn’t mean you are working hard, unless you get this desired results. Hard work means working until the job is completed, not until the clock says it’s time to go. Hence, we put in necessary efforts. People work hard for some purpose, especially when they have a goal to reach. Taking easy road and not working very hard, never produces any significant results. Unless we embrace hard work, we would not achieve any desired results in our lives. Hard work keeps burning desire flaming without ember.

Show pity on Generation ‘Y’

Do you know plastic people? They are smart people who don’t believe in hard work. These are the people who made the world to see double dip (A recession in already absorbing recession). Thinking big and achieving in short cut is the new way of thinking by generation ‘Y’, working smartly though, facilitated with air conditioned cubicies. Caution! Smart work is not an alternative or excuse; it is a choice and situational, not a substitute. People who embrace smart work are the ones, who do not know about hard work. Of course, you have to be smart about working hard, but hard work always pays. Just being smart or working smart is not sufficient. Smart work is about making the right strategy and following a controlled work culture. Hard work translates your dream and thoughts into outcome. You need to stop tormenting yourself about doing ‘hard work’ or ‘smart work’. You should always focus on doing your best on every task, goal and aspiration.

Going an Extra Mile

When the strong desire burns out, sometimes we lose enthusiasm to keep the work going on, and tend to cease work hard. This is the point, where we need to think smartly to go an extra mile, which means working hard even when we are tired.

There was a man, whose name was Gopal, who got information that a gold treasure was hidden under- neath the tree, at the backyard of palatial old building, Without informing anybody he started digging in search of gold. He dug for weeks and months, and many months. Still he did not find the gold treasure. But, he was sure of its existence. After digging many months, he reached a position, where he could not dig any more. He lost his hope and left the place without finding any gold treasure.

When he was leaving for his home, he encountered a person, a stranger. The stranger asked Gopal, “What are you doing in this old building?” Gopal revealed whole matter to the stranger out of frustration and miserable failure, which he kept as secret all the while, and left home. The stranger went to the place where Gopal was digging and started digging. Yes! He found the gold in number of boxes and carried the treasure laughing all the way to his home.

If you start digging for gold mine, and stop when you get tired and fed up with not finding treasure, for which you are so sure of its existence, then, somebody comes up and digs one more feet; he may gets that hidden treasure. Digging an extra feet may fetches treasure sometimes. Caution! Don’t dig when there is no treasure at all. When we work hard, we need to work till we get the desired results for which we have been working. Never give it up, especially when you are so sure of its outcome.
