WOMEN EMPOWERMENT
Ambition knows no gender. Women occupy 50 percent of the universe with a tag line “powerhouses of emotional intelligence, dedication”. They don’t need legislation, venture capitalists or angel investors when they have equal partnership in making or dismissing a government. What limit them are not the circumstances or society, but self-imposed shackles and women should come out of these limitations, though they have to work with misogynistic men around them, and a paradigm shift in perspective is needed, including religious barriers. The day is not far off, when most of the fortune 500 companies will be led by women around the world, if women don’t undersell their capabilities, whilst having ambition and ability.
Enacting policies for women
Before any policy is framed for women empowerment, women need to be encouraged to change their mindset. They need to be educated on paradigm shifts taking place in the society and the barriers they have to overcome, which some mere policies can not accomplish. A positive mindset to fight for their equal rights will be instilled in women. In india, there is still a strong view that woman are the weaker sex, dowry deaths are commonplace, rape is regular news and female infanticide is still practiced. We need to first educate them and then create policies.
End of men dominated world and rise of kitchen cabinet
There is a woman namely Bindu. She never thinks that women are less privileged because she never thought in that way, where most of the women think generally. She is an Electronics graduate and has immense knowledge about present day education system, starting from putting her child in kindergarten, and raising him up to the required standards, so that he would not feel sorrow or deprived, when he grows up to face the world. Though, she is Electronics graduate, she has taken paradigm shift to newer fields.
It was my fortune that I met her and I actually gained some social and general knowledge, which usually I do not know, even though I visited and served in more than 20 states in India and five countries spread in four continents. very few women in India have these types of qualities as far as I know, since I observe women very closely when I meet them, while interviewing for my upcoming book “Women empowerment in India”.
Most important things about this woman is that she never gets frightened by misogynistic men in the Indian society. Most of the women in India, empathically looking forward for their rights and share in the society through government legislation, by begging for 33 percent reservations, which they would not get any way in near future. Thanks to our national leaders – for tearing off the papers – whenever the ruling government put forward the bill in the Parliament.
Any ways, she is not at all interested in this apathetical legislation. Instead, she herself portrayed the critical perspective of her nature and behavior to the society, and daringly permeated in men dominated industry, be it real estate – IT training – consultancyor construction field. Interestingly, it is a lesson for all women to take some leaves from her intelligentsia basket.
By and large, it is a warning to all men to be cautious to tight their belts are women of her nature will surely breaks the glass ceiling, with their ambition and ability in any field. Moreover, if women thinks and act like her, it should definitely be an end to the men dominated world, and rise of kitchen cabinet. Finally she broke all barriers that normal Indian women have! Daring and commendable! What I see and judge about this woman is another fire band on the making.
Another day another crime, whole nation in the grime Nobody finds the name; we lost our country’s fame Nobody takes the blame; our nation is in the shame Not just to gape, but we all should condemn rape.
