What is stress?
Stress is what caused to human beings when they feel disparity between perceived demands and ability to manage, often failing to control events and pressures.
Stress – causes
Stress knows no gender and age. Stress has no affection towards anyone. It is the only thing in the universe, which treats all people with same amount of respect, whoever goes near to it.
Naturally, we feel stress because of financial problems, family problems, health problems and work problems, Students feel stress when they have to write umpteen entrance examinations. Employees feel stress when they have heavy work load. The other causes may be due to breakdown relationship, lack of interest on job, excess travelling, dealing with fussy children, poor academic results, and list goes on…
Manage anger
With the advent of technology, all of us possess electronic gadgets and these are definitely useful in our daily life, and excessive use of these equipments may cause stress. The cause of concern could be anything from frequent power cuts at home and work place to missing train or car failure. These are the reasons normally make us feel tension and throw us in doldrums, thus causing stress and anger. When stress coupled with anger, especially at work places, it affects on your work and spoils the whole working environment. Try not to get angry on trivial issues and control anger with meditation or yoga.
Negative mental attitude
When we feel stress, negative mental attitude automatically develops in us This negative attitude sneaks into our mind like a slow poison and becomes silent killer. Remember! What we perceive in this world is largely a reflection of our own attitudes. It is up to our prudence and ability to tackle negative attitude to control stress.

If you feel that you have much stress and unable to manage or control, then you may practice yoga and meditation. No matter how much stress you have, you can still manage stress with daily practice of yoga and meditation. Still unable to control the stress, then you may seek medical advice and take remedial actions accordingly, before it kills you.

- Set a relaxed tone by starting the day with peacefulness
- Do regular physical exercise to keep yourself fit and healthy
- Be assertive
- Take lunch in a relaxed and calm place and feel happy
- Keep your work area tidily

- Connect with family, relatives and friends
- Sleep well
